Librarianship - A Career Of Reflection

I am working at the library and have been just called a lanky freak by some intellectually challenged children. Whilst this kind of thing never really bothers me, it’s by no means a very nice thing to have it yelled across your place of work, especially as ‘rangy zealot’ is much more in keeping with my raison d'etre. However, it cannot be ignored that I am a very tall man, as can be seen whenever I’m in a photo with Andy and Ed, both of whom are of reasonably average height.

I’ve just had to do some oblique ballet moves to avoid trampling a two-year old into the carpet. Is this because I am a lanky freak?

Feel a little better about being a ‘lanky freak’ as some other group of Neanderthal children just left the library shouting ‘bogies’ very loudly, and having checked my nostrils in a mirror, that wasn’t directed at me.
